Matt Wiggins, M.A.

Matt earned his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology and is a licensed professional counselor in South Carolina. He arrived in counseling after twenty years in professional youth ministry across several Presbyterian Church (USA) churches in Ohio and North Carolina, most recently as Staff Associate for Youth Ministry at a 1400 member church with 100 middle and high schoolers and 30 weekly adult volunteers. Matt has also been involved with curriculum development with a large interdenominational publisher and leadership development within the PC(USA).

For the last twenty years Matt has been walking with people who are in difficult chapters of their story and holding hope with them that healing and growth are always possible. He believes that empathy and curiosity are key to helping coaches draw what is amazing out of their clients so that they can minister and lead from the intersection of their deep joy and the world’s great need.

He resides in Charlotte with his wife Lisa and children Ellie and Jack. When he finds some down time, it’s a good guess he’s probably doing something related to a bicycle.
